Choose which colors to allow, and how strictly to match them.

Compares the card's basic shape — its card type and mana value — separately from what it actually does. Off by default, so you see every matching card first; turn these on to narrow it down.

Click any mana value (or several at once) to narrow results to those costs — mana value and CMC mean the same thing here. Click a rarity to narrow to just that rarity.

Narrows results to one type or subtype, regardless of what type the card you're searching from is — e.g. find instants or Sagas similar to Celes, Rune Knight (a creature).

Only applies in Deck mode.

How the card is paid for — check the ones you want matched.

What the card actually does.

See every printed variant of a token this card makes — different sets, Secret Lair art, showcase treatments, and so on.

Named keyword abilities on this card.

This card cares about creatures with these keywords, even though it doesn't have them itself — search for creatures that do.

This card's effect bestows these keywords on something (its own controller doesn't necessarily have the keyword itself) — searched for the specific keyword(s), not any keyword.

Detected from your description.

Subtypes left out of the search, e.g. "non-Equipment" still means artifact, just not that subtype — works for any real creature type too, e.g. "not an Eldrazi."

Detected from "only ___", e.g. "only Eldrazi" — matches cards that ARE that type, MAKE that type, or support it (like tribal payoffs), not just the type itself.

Detected from your description, e.g. "Elk," "Chandra," "Sagas," "Spacecraft," or "Kindred instants" — matched against Magic's real, current lists of creature, planeswalker, artifact, enchantment, land, and spell types. Cards like Voja that care about more than one creature type get a toggle for each (either one counts); "Kindred" and "can be your commander" always apply on top.
